Petrona Ríos, one of the very first of ACG’s parataxonomists, was recently featured in the Voice of Guanacaste, a regional newspaper in northwestern Costa Rica. The article charts the course of how Ríos came to join the parataxonomy program in its early years, and how it changed her life and the lives of people within her family and her community. We are thankful to have shared this journey with her and are inspired by her work and dedication. The link to the article can be found here.
