Nicholas Lapham specializes in U.S. and international conservation policy with an emphasis on Africa. His past positions include senior fellow with World Wildlife Fund, president of African Parks Foundation of America, vice president for policy at Conservation International (CI) and director of CI’s Center for Conservation and Government. Lapham also served as a senior program officer at the United Nations Foundation and as a senior adviser to the White House Climate Change Task Force during the Clinton administration. Lapham has also been a board member of the American Bird Conservancy. Along with his family, he owns and manages The Farm at Sunnyside, an organic vegetable farm in Rappahannock County, Virginia.
